Could pie save your life?

As scientists, we are painfully aware that our planet is doomed. The way the world is going, everything around us is probably going to sink to the bottom of the ocean pretty soon. But until then, let's try to make the best of it! How, you say? Pie, I say!

As we are destined to turn the Earth into either a scorching dessert or a frozen tundra, let's see if desserts can be our savior. Our hypothesis:

Does making and eating blueberry pie make you less cold?

Obviously, we all know that the motion of atoms and molecules creates a form of energy called heat, or rather thermal energy, which is present in all matter, even in the coldest voids of space. OBVIOUSLY. But how to make it work to your advantage?

To run this experiment, we first gathered supplies. Let's see if we can turn all this into heat and deliciousness!

With some effort, we managed to fashion these ingredients into little pots of future yums, that looked like this:

But then, by applying SCIENCE (and also heat), they turned into crispy, golden, blueberry-y little miracles!

In conclusion:
Yes, making and eating blueberry pie makes you less cold, but mostly because you're standing in front of a hot oven.
